Discs and Equipment

So you have decided you want to try disc golf.  Your first question is what do I need to get started? The most basic answer is just a disc golf disc. You can start with just one, and many experts recommend doing just that.  You may choose to begin with a few, and this is what most people do.  Most of the major disc manufacturers have starter sets available, or you can choose to buy them separately.  You should do a little research first, as there are literally thousands of discs available, and many of them are not suitable for beginners. Disc flight characteristics and disc selection are beyond the scope of this website, but links to some disc selection information will be found on the "Information" page. The purpose of this page is to tell you where you can buy them.  Scroll down for links to internet sources for ordering.
